Maria-It's patently obvious that the book pimp chose #2 because all the girls picked #1 and he's a boy not a girl so he felt compelled to choose #2 in spite of the fact that #1 is CLEARLY the more hip fashionista choice.

Actually...#1 is the vegan emo girl choice, which is fine if that's the look you're going for. I still say #2 is #1!
