Dangerously Close

Yes I know everyone is completely fed up with my constant promises of pictures and utter lack of follow through and I am dangerously close to losing you all as readers. What can I say, things have been a little hairy around here for me. With new standards to meet a school, kitties that need a little TLC and generally coping with the raging tempest that has taken residence in my mind it's sorta been on the back burner. But Chusok awaits and when it comes the country packs up and goes to visit family and ancestors in parts outside the city. What does this mean for me and you? Well I could travel, but what I really plan on doing is simple, NOTHING. Good old fashioned nothing. And at some point in this nothingness of an existence I should have the desire to SHOW you my world as well as write about it.

As for this weekend, what can I say there is never not something new for me to tell.
FRIDAY: When to see my first movie in Korea. And for the illustrious event we chose a movie that was in Mandarin with Korean subtitles. Gotta make things easy! So some of the things that make this event slightly off center from the norm that I am used to include: concessions that will not cost the same as a tank of gas in a 1979 Ford F150 extended cab truck, cups that have TWO yes two holes for soda sharing ('cuz u get the tall one I get the short one never really works), assigned seating for the show, pre-movie movies in the lobby with train station seating and my all time favorite the ticket taker waring a large yellow sash explaining his all to obvious purpose in life. As usual and to the chagrin of my cohorts I acted badly during the movie and laughed too loud and at all the wrong places, BUT I didn't use my handphone and keep my talking to a minimum. ha HA!

SATURDAY: Let's see woke up @ 10:30 only to lay on the couch and talk on the phone and watch T.V. until 3ish. Upon waking at 5 I began to clean and do laundry, only to go to bed around 11. AH nice. Now the only reason that I feel the need to bore you with this sad three sentences is simply because this is the FIRST time since moving here that I have had the chance to do this and wanted to wallow in the glory of it just one more time. Thanks for understanding, well back to the coal mines, only 5 more days until Chusok! :)
